Edit static Next.js websites directly on the page. No database. No separate CMS.
Functions
Edit texts and images directly on the website – no separate admin dashboard.
Support for plain text, rich text, images and collections such as team members, services, FAQs or other recurring content.
Image upload with built-in cropping (zoom, pan, rotation in 90° steps) and alt text – on publish, an optimized WebP file is generated automatically at the size defined by the developer.
Advantages
No separate CMS and no additional database – content is stored as readable JSON files and images as regular WebP files directly in your own Git repository.
Customers edit content exactly where it appears: directly on the website, in the actual layout.
Layout, components and code stay protected – only the fields enabled by the developer can be edited.
Notes
biberblog is designed for static Next.js websites with GitHub and Vercel.
The editor requires a GitHub repository, a connected Vercel project (Pro plan or higher) and Vercel Blob as temporary storage for image editing.
biberblog is deliberately designed for one editor per website and occasional content updates. There is no user or role management and no conflict handling for simultaneous edits.
